Karen Charlene Arrowood
Karen Charlene Arrowood, 71, of Hixson passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was a devoted member of LifeGate Baptist Church and a woman whose love for life was reflected in the things she held dear—flowers, animals, the peacefulness of home, and the joy of a beach vacation. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives were deeply touched by her love and presence.
She is survived by her loving husband and lifelong partner of 43 years, Robert Arrowood; her children, Serena (Nathan) Weaver, Regina (Chris) Hewitt, and Michael Arrowood; her grandchildren Shane, Maicey, Mickale, Hailey, Dakota, and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Billy, Skylar, Emma, Elisha, Hazel, Rhema, Sammy, Tucker, Karson, Charlie, Callie, Sebastion and Triton; and many extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Karen’s legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will be remembered always.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
