Thomas "Tom" Ralph Cooke
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Thomas "Tom" Ralph Cooke, 76. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on August 5, 1948, and passed on June 1, 2025.
Tom was preceded in death by his son Joseph Cooke; father Frederick Cooke, Sr.; mother Martha Wright Cooke; and brother Frederick Cooke, Jr.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna Phillips Cooke; son Christopher Cooke (Tiffany) of Young Harris, GA; daughter in law Tiffany Cooke of Panama City, FL; bonus sons Jason Alexander of Rossville, GA and Scott Alexander (Emily) of Chattanooga, TN; sister's Mary Dobbins and Cecelia Cooper (Joe) of Apison, TN; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives along with special friends Ken Brooks and John Wright.
Tom was a 1966 graduate of East Ridge High School. He began his career as a 17-year member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 43. Tom worked at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant and various construction sites around Chattanooga. Years later, he began his career in the insurance sales industry. Most recently, Tom was employed by Choo Choo Materials in Rossville.
Tom was passionate about golf and was a member of the Killer Minner Golf Group, participating in tournaments in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. He was an avid pet owner and, over the years, enjoyed caring for many cats and beloved dogs. He was of unfailing good cheer, positive outlook, and a sharp sense of humor. His love for his family and friends knew no bounds. Most of all, Tom was the proud father of Christopher Cooke and the late Joseph Cooke.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, there will be no service. Tom was, and will always be, greatly loved, cherished, appreciated, and will forever be missed.
