Harold Tucker

Harold D. Tucker, 68, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at his residence.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga where he was a member of the Teamsters Local 515, a United States Marine Veteran serving during Vietnam, and he retired from TVA in 1999 as a truck driver with over 20 years of service. Mr. Tucker was an avid racing fan as well as an avid Volunteer and Braves fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Essie Tucker.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Wanda Tucker; three stepsons, Chris and Lee Hancock and K.C. Combes, all of Chattanooga; and one grandson, Jacob Grant.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at 300 West Emery Street Dalton, Ga. 30720.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
