James Franklin Turner Jr., 63, of Signal Mountain, died on Friday, February 12, 2010.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved the Lord and was a devoted father.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Elise Turner of Chattanooga; son, William Turner of Chattanooga; brother, Charles Turner of Maryland; four grandchildren, loving best friend, Carol Dill of Chattanooga; best friends, Donna and Pete Palmer of Chattanooga.

Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, at First Centenary United Methodist Church, Kate Lyle West Chapel with Rev. David Harr officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
