Dale Cruse Named Market President For Wachovia Northwest Georgia Market

Jim Jones, regional business banking manager for North Georgia for Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, has named Dale Cruse market president for the Northwest Georgia market, which includes the Chattanooga area.

In his new role, Mr. Cruse will manage corporate and government relationships in the counties that include Dalton, Ringgold, Fort Oglethorpe, Lafayette, Calhoun and Chatsworth. Mr. Cruse will also be responsible for bringing new business relationships to Wachovia.

Mr. Cruse has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience in Northwest Georgia. He joined Wachovia in 1988 as a manager in Wachovia Dealer Financial Services group in Dalton. Most recently, he was a business banking relationship manager.

“We are very fortunate to have Dale leading our teams as market president,” said Mr. Jones. “His experience in commercial banking will benefit our business banking customers, and he has a proven track record in offering superior service and expertise to his clients.”

Mr. Cruse is a native of Dalton. He attended Dalton College where he studied accounting and business administration. He is also a graduate of Leadership Dalton Whitfield. He has served on several boards, including the United Way and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

He resides in Dalton with his wife, Amy, and his son, Tyler, where they are members of Dalton First United Methodist Church.
