Governor Perdue Appoints Sanford Hill Solicitor-General for Chattooga County

Governor Sonny Perdue announced he will appoint Dr. Sanford M. Hill of Summerville as the solicitor-general for Chattooga County. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Timothy M. Perry.

Dr. Hill practiced as a doctor of chiropractic for 28 years prior to a career in law. Currently, he runs a private practice focusing on criminal, personal injury and worker’s compensation law.

Dr. Hill is the team doctor for Chattooga High School athletics and is a volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation.

He attended Upper Iowa University and received his juris doctorate from John Marshall Law School.
