Launch Tennessee is calling for standout startups in the state to apply for its upcoming pitch competition, presented by Amazon, for a chance to win the grand prize of $10,000 cash.

Tennessee-located startups in the pre-seed, seed or Series A stage are invited to apply to pitch during the competition, happening during 3686’s landmark 12th year, Sept. 8-10.

“We’re looking for founders who are innovative, credible and enthusiastic to share their technology or business with the broader entrepreneurial community,” LaunchTN venture fellow and pitch competition organizer Jay Teamer said.

Founders will pitch for the chance to be chosen as the judges’ choice, which comes with a $10,000 cash prize and in-kind resources (valued at up to $5,000) from The Operations Guide.

A separate audience choice winner will also land up to $5,000 worth of in-kind resources from The Operations Guide.

The competition is happening Sept. 9 during 3686, and the deadline to apply is Aug. 15.

Athlete-specific tele-mental health solution Onrise won last year’s top prize; in 2023, the winner was VetVerifi. Subsequently, both companies also received funding from LaunchTN’s InvestTN.
