Appalachian Stone Partners Hosts Grand Opening

  • Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Appalachian Stone Partners, Inc., a natural stone quarrying and sales company, will hold a ribbon cutting on June 16 at 4 p.m. The business, which opened in February, is located at 6101 Mountain View Road, Suite 2. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is assisting with the event.

Duane Zollinger is president of Appalachian Stone which has been in business for over three decades and had three other locations in the southeast.

Appalachian Marketing Director Jerry Sterling said, “Appalachian Stone provides real stone products that have been cut into a thin veneer.

This means that the final product is cost effective both to purchase and install. We also provide many varieties of full stone, such as Tennessee flagstone, sandstone, and fieldstone.”

The family-owned business sells stone from local quarries, including quarries located on several hundred acres on Dayton Mountain.

The company office provides 3,000-square-feet of space. An acre of adjoining property offers storage and inventory space.

Appalachian Stone Partners is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and 12-5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information contact Sterling at (423)619-9111
