Ooltewah High School Band Kicks Off Fund Raising Raffle

The Ooltewah High School band has kicked off its second annual fund raising raffle. The grand prize is $10,000. Each ticket costs $100. Only 300 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held on October 29. Other great prizes include a $300 Visa gift card from Wade Dyar State Farm, 100 gallons gas from Steve Ray’s Midnite Oil, a $125 family joining fee certificate from Hamilton Family YMCA, a $100 Bi-Lo gift card from the Ooltewah Bi-Lo, two Nashville Predators Hockey tickets donated by Kim Dye, a $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card and two pair of tickets to the Dorothy Patten Fine Arts Series donated by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Winners do not have to be present to win.

Tickets can be purchased at the Ooltewah High School home football games, Steve Ray’s Midnite Oil in Ooltewah, from any OHS Band parent, or by contacting Sondra Hart at OHSRaffle@aol.com or 553-0561.

The band program at Ooltewah High School, under the direction of Mr. Joel Denton, provides students musical instruction, leadership training, and personal discipline and team building experiences. Funds raised from the raffle will allow the Ooltewah High School band to continue community performances and regional and national competitions.
