Mosley, Aileen Adams (Summerville)

Aileen Adams Mosley, 73, of Summerville, Ga., died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Floyd Medical Center.

She was the widow of the late Mr. Benjamin Jefferson Davis Mosley; and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs. Lena Mosley and Mrs. Katie Jackson.

Mrs. Mosley was retired from Bigelow Carpet Mill and was a member of the A.M.F. Quintet.

Survivors are her two devoted sons, Mr. Briton (Colette) Mosley and Mr. Bradford (DeShana) Mosley of Rome, Ga.; two granddaughters, Camden and Brayundra Mosley; grandson, Adam Fredric; one sister, Mrs. Louise Favors of Summerville; sister-in-law, Mrs. Vernell Shropshire; brother-in-law, Mr. A. L. Mosley; special cousins, Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Mattie Farmer; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Gore Community, Summerville, with Pastor George Beavers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home.
