The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing announced Michael C. Mallen has joined the UTK College of Nursing Advisory Board.
Mr. Mallen, a member of Miller & Martin Law Firm, has over two decades of experience in the areas of creating and operating heavy manufacturing businesses as well as in the areas of environmental law and commercial and industrial real estate development, with multiple successful ventures throughout the years.
Mr. Mallen also serves as a commissioner on the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority, the Memorial Health Care System Board Planning Committee, and the past president of Riverbend Festival Board.
Mr. Mallen lives in Chattanooga with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Lindsay, a recent graduate of the UTK College of Nursing.
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing Advisory Board is a group of individuals interested in sharing the college’s commitment to excellence. The advisory board was established in 1988 to assist in developing plans and strategies to guide the college’s future.
Officials said, "The advice and insights of the members of the advisory board have proven invaluable to the college as we continue to enhance our reputation as a premier leader in nursing education."
