Keith Sherman
Keith Edward Sherman, 65, of Bryant, died on January 14, after so bravely fighting cancer.
He was born on May 9, 1948, in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Helen Sherman.
Mr. Sherman was a United States Army Viet Nam veteran. He was an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist with Overland Express, Sherman-Williams Band, Cow Jazz and Nite Owl, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, founder of SpiritHorse at Healing Hearts Farm and Emmazing Mobility Foundation.
A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bryant, on Saturday, at 4 p.m. EST. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m.
He is survived by his child bride of 23 years, Debbie Clark Sherman, brother, Tom Sherman (Joy), daughter, Melanie Engleright (Rhett), grandchildren, Kyle, Kole and Chelsea Gray (Jason), great-grandchildren, David and Sophia; son, Graham Sherman (Shonda), grandchildren, Cadence and Maddox; daughter, Amanda Gibson (Nathan), grandchildren, Jeremiah and Layla, and by a host of loving extended family and friends.
