Sandra Charlene Holman Shortridge, 48, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
She was born to the late Joe Ray and Evelyn Holman on May 10, 1965 in Athens, Al. Sandra was a member of Cross Connections Assembly of God Church in Chickamauga, where she was a member of Christ Life. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, pets and Bible study.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Shortridge of Rossville; three children, Casey Evelyn Vannatter of Rossville, Chesney Rucker of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Jacob Rucker of Worthington, Ky.; sister; Donna Nave of Ardmore, Al.; and six grandchildren, C.J. Vannatter, Charlie Ann Vannatter, Jocelyn Russell, Dalila Russell, Alex Rucker and Riley Rucker.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joey Kelley officiating.
