Ooltewah Softball Tops Cleveland, 15-3, In District Contest

Ooltewah softball won a District 5-AAA contest with Cleveland, 15-3, on Tuesday.

Sophomore Monica Thompson pitched seven innings to improve to 4-2. She gave up five hits.

Freshman Aubie Collake was 4-5 with a home run and a double. She had two RBIs.

Tiera Lemon, another freshman, added a triple and a double.

Ashunti Cooper was 4-5 and scored four runs, while Allie Jones was 3-4 and had four RBIs.

Ooltewah is now 17-5 overall and 5-3 in district play.
