6 Fire Units Go To One Central Plaza, But It Is False Alarm

At approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, six units of the Chattanooga Fire Department were called to One Central Plaza in downtown Chattanooga. The address is at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Cherry Street, next door to Miller Plaza.

The call was based on fire alarms being activated in the south elevator lobby. After a thorough investigation, firefighters on the scene pronounced them as false alarms.
