Cynthia Brown
Cynthia Kay Jones Brown, 50, of the Noble Community (LaFayette), died on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Oak Ridge, Tn. to the late William R. and Gwendolyn Joe Cranmore Jones. She had lived in LaFayette most of her life where she had worked for several of the local manufacturing facilites. Her last employment was Product Concepts where she was a manager. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in LaFayette. She enjoyed scrapbooking, making crafts, cooking, but most of all loved being a mother to her children.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis MitchellBrown, Sr., son, had Cook and an aunt, Frankie Fortenberry.
She is survived by her children, Bill McHan, Christopher Brown, Savannah Brown, Mitch Brown, Jr., Tabitha Brown, sister, Sheila Smith, grandchildren, Madison Cook, Nicholas Cook, Joshua Ingle, Jace Brown, Tanner Brown, Javier Daniels, BraylenBrown all of LaFayette, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, at Community Baptist Church in LaFayette with Pastor W.C. Pence presiding.
