Charles Kenneth Crider, Sr., 74, of Rossville, Georgia, died peacefully on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.

Mr. Crider retired from BASF Chemical Company and recently worked for All Aboard Tours as a tour bus driver.  He attended Oakwood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jane Cox Crider, parents, John and Dorothy Crider, and brother, Jerry Lamar Crider.

Charles is survived by eight children, Cindy Ketron, Charles K. (Carolyn) Crider, Jr., Randy (Karen) Crider, Teresa (Lane) Ogle, Richard (Renee) Cox, Ronnie (Carolyn) Cox, Brenda (Lamar) Freeman, and Bobby (Linda) Cox, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three devoted sisters, Katherine Kenemer, Doris Hall, Dot Wilbanks and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastors Joseph Hardin, Frank Kelley, and Scott Hobbs officiating. 

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
