Kristin Maxwell Headlee died on December 15, 2015 from brain cancer.

She was born Aug. 15, 1961, in Coatesville, PA and resided in Chattanooga since 2005.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard S. Maxwell, and is survived by her blessed husband, Ted Headlee, mother Margaret Baily Maxwell of Honey Brook, PA, "second parents" Jim and Charlotte Headlee, brothers, Rick Maxwell (Rebecca), Steve Maxwell (Mary), and Tom Maxwell (P.J.), all of Chester County, Pa., loving aunts and uncle, life-warming cousins, nieces and nephews who've each brought her joy, and now their growing young families.

Kristin graduated from Lock Haven State University, where she met her husband. They lived 19 years in New Orleans where she was postmaster of a contract station P.O. serving the NOBTS seminary and the community. After Hurricane Katrina they relocated to Chattanooga where she was welcomed into the McCallie School family, which she served for the last nine years, delivering mail, encouragement, a caring ear, and always a sunny smile. Their incredible outpouring of love, support, and encouragement will always be remembered.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Ridgedale Baptist Church, with a celebration of life immediately following in the sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, it was Kristin's desire that donations be made to Agathos Classical School of Columbia, Tn., "To the Glory of God Alone" at www.agathosschool.com.
