Xavier Keeling
Xavier Keeling, 27, was arrested for sexual battery on Saturday after he allegedly touched a girl’s lower back multiple times and caused a disorder at the Big Chill.
A security guard told officers that the defendant was seen grabbing a woman by her collar and that he would not let go. He and several other employees intervened when they could see that the woman was in distress.
The victim said that she did not know Keeling, but he had been touching her repeatedly, despite the fact that she had told him to leave her alone.
The guard and other employees also told officers that Keeling had been screaming and cursing after they broke up the disorder and that he refused to leave until police arrived.
Keeling admitted to drinking that night but would not specify how many drinks he had had. The arresting officer noted that he appeared intoxicated and smelled of alcohol and marijuana.
