Chattanooga Woman Arrested After Baby Is Born With 5 Different Opiates In System

A Chattanooga woman is facing child neglect and abuse charges after her child was born with five different types of drugs in his system.

Sydney Dunn, 20, was taken into custody after an investigation by the Tennessee Department of Children's Services.

She was arrested at a Brainerd Road apartment.

Ms. Dunn tested positive for Benzodiazepines after giving birth in June. The baby tested positive for codeine, morphine, 6-acetylmophine, hydrocodone and hydromorphone.

Her bond was set at $25,000.
