Hamilton County Schools, Some Other Schools, On 2-Hour Delay Tuesday Due To Cold Weather

Hamilton County Schools will be on a two-hour delay on Tuesday "due to the extreme cold temperatures."

County School officials said, "This will also give our maintenance department time to check the buildings and make sure the heat is working properly and there are no frozen or broken water lines.  SACC will also be on a two-hour delay."

Central Office employees will report on regular schedule.

Also starting two hours late will be Hamilton Heights School, Polk County, Bledsoe County, Grundy County, Marion County and Sweetwater Schools.

The Orange Grove Center bus will run two hours late.

Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy will have a one-hour delay.
