UTC Wrestling Coach Heath Eslinger will be the keynote speaker at the 2016 FCA Road to Victory Banquet scheduled for Tuesday, March 8th at the Colonnade Center.  This banquet is the largest annual fundraiser for the Greater Chattanooga FCA and is scheduled to begin at 6:30.

Coach Eslinger is in his seventh year serving as the Head Coach of the Mocs and he has led his squad to the Southern Conference Championship in five of his six full seasons.  A former wrestler, Eslinger was a two-time state champion in high school at Bradley Central in his native Cleveland.  From there he signed to wrestle at UTC and is ranked second all-time in wins for the program.  He previously served as an assistant coach to the Mocs, spent time as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church in Cleveland, was the head wrestling coach at Cleveland High School before becoming the Moc’s Head Coach in 2009 .  Eslinger has been extremely involved with the FCA ministry both as a coach and athlete and has spoken at the ministry’s summer camps as well as numerous coach’s conferences.

FCA Director Jay Fowler stated, “We are really thrilled to have one of our own speak at this year’s Road to Victory banquet.  Heath and his entire family are such an important part of our ministry and the guy is one of the most passionate and gifted speakers you will ever hear.  I truly believe everyone who joins us for this important event on March 8th will be blown away by Coach Eslinger’s message.”

The Greater Chattanooga FCA serves seven counties in Southeast Tennessee and has a ministry presence in over 75 area middle schools, high schools, and colleges, as well as a growing outreach to non-school based sports groups in the community.  For more information about how you can sponsor or attend this event, please go to www.chattanoogafca.org or call Fowler at (423) 309-4255.
