Louis White
Louis White passed away on October 27, 2024 at 68 years of age.
He was born on Jan. 26, 1956 to Herschel and Marguerite White. He was a graduate of Cleveland Day School and also UTC.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Leona, children, Candace(Brett Hicks), and Adam, granddaughter Kate, and a multitude of friends, along with 3 dogs currently (that number ranged from 1 to 6 over the years) and a bird. Special friends Joseph Leigh, Jonathan Harris, Ryan Gee, Andy Smith, James Vaughn, Mandy Gould, and TS will miss Louis.
He was known for his quick wit (his wife told him on good days he was a smarta** and on bad days he was a dumba**). Louis loved Kate, Alabama football, his children, old Dodge vehicles with slant 6 engines, wrestling, and his wife-not necessarily in that order but probably. He was a Christian and attended Rock Bridge Community Church in Ringgold. There are unsubstantiated rumors that he was a founding member of The Naked Church.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene in the Family Life Center at 3220 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. 30742 (the church by Walmart). Since Alabama has an off week it will be 12-4 p.m. We will be sharing football food and memories so if you have a story to tell about Duckman, please come and share.
