Lookouts Walk It Off In The Eleventh

  • Saturday, July 12, 2025

Cade Hunter had a career night for the Chattanooga Lookouts going 3-5 including the game winning hit in the bottom of the eleventh for a 7-6 victory over the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

After allowing a run in the first inning the Lookouts fought back in the bottom of the fourth courtesy of a three run homerun by Jay Allen II who continues to be red hot. In the sixth the Lookouts scored three more on rbi hits from Cade Hunter and Hector Rodriguez.

Starting pitcher Kevin Abel had a fantastic start allowing only one run on four hits in five innings but was followed by a troublesome relief appearance from Brandon Komar. Komar gave up five runs on seven hits in just an inning and two thirds.

Closer Trevor Kuncl once again had a dominating outing this time going two scoreless innings to earn the win. He is now 2-0 on the season.

Saturday night will be Rhett Lowder Bobblehead night at the park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
