Betsy Latour, 32, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was born in Southfield, MI and moved to Dalton in 1986 with her parents and brother. She was a 2001 graduate of Northwest Whitfield High School and studied at Kennesaw State University. She held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Survivors include her loving parents, Chris & Cindy Latour of Dalton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian & Jennifer Latour of Dalton and Paul & Jenna Latour of Michigan; sister, Nicole Latour of Lexington, KY; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church with her pastor, John Rossing officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday, April 24 from 5-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Georgia Humane Society.
