The District 6-A/AA semifinals were played Tuesday night with East Ridge edging Howard 2-1 and Red Bank beating Hixson on a penalty kick shootout.
Hunter Schobert had two goals for East Ridge in their 2-1 win over Howard. One of those goals was on a penalty kick and the other was assisted by Luis Padilla. Howard scored on a penalty kick by Sergio Marcos.
East Ridge improves to 11-2 overall and will host Red Bank on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Camp Jordan.
