Fred Waters IV
Fred “Pookie” Waters IV, 27, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his residence in Nashville.
He attended Grammar Elementary and Rock Springs Middle in Nashville and attended Tyner High School.
He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Christine Bryant and Fannie Bell Waters.
Survivors include his children, Isaiah Hardwick, JaQuan Waters, Zion Watkins, Janaya Waters, and SaRayh Waters; mother, Sharon (Duncan) Bennett; father, Fred (Carlotta) Waters III; brother, Everett (Shante) Hollins III; sisters, Leandra Richardson and Gabrielle Waters; grandmother, Allie (Guy) Turner, Martha Blackmon and a host of uncle, aunts, friends and other relatives.
He will lie in state on Friday, Aug. 5, after 9:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at noon in the chapel with Reverend Veronica Minter as the eulogist. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery.
