Man Shot Early Saturday Morning On South Greenwood Avenue

A man was shot early Saturday morning on South Greenwood Avenue.

Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call at approximately 12:13 a.m. Upon arrival, police located the man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS.

A witness stated to investigators that the man was shot by an unknown person in a passing vehicle.
