Mary Katrina Baker McDade
Mary Katrina Baker McDade, age 65, was born on November 30, 1953 to the late Henry Lee Baker and Addie Lee Mann Baker in Dalton, Georgia.
She passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Quinton Memorial Health Care.
Mary Katrina was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, graduate of Dalton High School, and Dalton Vocational School of Health Occupation of Nursing.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Cheryl Baker Rivers.
Those left to celebrate her life and love are her daughter, Kathryn Jocilyn (Rev. Mark, Sr.) Redmond; grandchildren, Mariah Lee Redmond, Mark Anthony Redmond, Jr., and Emma Marie Redmond of Woodstock, Ga.; brothers, Harry Lane Baker of New York, Jimmy (Deanna) Baker, Theophlis (Linda) Baker of Dalton, Georgia, Perry (Vickie) Baker of Maryland, Ervin (Shirley) Baker of Jonesboro, Ga.; special niece, Lisa Rivers Brown; close friend, Henry Allen Ward; aunts, Kathleen DeLoach, Frances Mann, Ruth North; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Rodney Weaver as eulogist, and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
