Soddy Daisy Lacrosse Finishes Regular Season With Win Over Chattanooga FCA

The Soddy Daisy boys high school lacrosse team closed out the regular season with a 13-1 victory over Chattanooga FCA (3-3).

It was a close game after just one quarter, but the Trojans (12-1) exploded for 7 goals in the 2nd quarter to hold a 10-point advantage at the half.

On Senior Appreciation Night, three seniors scored multiple goals. Attackman Parker Ghaffari and midfielder Nate Schofield each scored three goals and midfielder Chance Humphries scored two.

Junior attackman Blake Morrow continued his all-star season with three goals as well. Senior keeper Justin Kaulfuss earned his 11th win of the season protecting the goal. Senior defender Hunter Swanson picked up 2 ground balls, an interception, and a takeaway.

With the victory, the Trojans earned an automatic spot in the playoffs as regular season region champions. The Trojans completed the regular season undefeated in TSLA's Club Division 2 East Region. For the third week in a row, Soddy Daisy has been ranked 1st in the state in the divisional playoff poll. The playoff seedings will be announced by TSLA on Monday.
