American Idol Open Auditions - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 5PM on Monday, August 27th until 9PM on Tuesday, August 28th for the open auditions for American Idol.
Thursday, Aug. 30
Chattanooga Mocs Season Opener- Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street; W 19th Street will also be closed, from 5 a.m.-11:30 p.m. for the opening game of the Chattanooga Mocs. This closure will be in effect on: 8/30, 9/22, 10/6, 10/27, 11/10, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15 for the 2018 season. Please note that there will be no street parking available on Chestnut Street from W 17th Street to W 19th Street starting at 5 a.m. on the days of the home games.
Friday, Aug. 31
Nightfall - Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 p.m.-midnight on Friday, Aug. 31. This is the final event for Nightfall.
West Village Out on 8th - W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2 p.m. on Aug. 31 until 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.
This closure will be in effect each Friday night through Oct. 27.
Saturday, September 1st
Front Runner Athletics (FCA) 5K - The right westbound lane of Amnicola Hwy will be closed between the Chattanooga State driveway and the Tennessee Riverpark Driveway from 6:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, for the annual Frontrunner Athletics 5K race.
West Village Street Festivals- Pine Street between W 7th Street and W M.L. King Blvd, and
W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 a.m.-midnight each Saturday through Jan. 19, 2019.
Sunday, September 2nd
Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm each Sunday through November 18.
