Kenco Logistics will host the grand opening of the company’s Supply Chain Innovation Lab on the campus of Kenco’s corporate headquarters in Chattanooga on Tuesday, Oct.
8, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Kenco will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the 10,000-square foot space, which will serve as a true test facility for Kenco’s team of innovation specialists to assess value-added technologies, delivering enhanced accuracy and sustainability and improved implementation speeds for customers. Attendees will be given the opportunity to tour the facility.
The first technologies that will be tested in the facility include NextShift Robotics, a fundamentally unique autonomous mobile robotics solution; Locus Robotics, a provider of efficient and powerful autonomous mobile robot solutions designed for warehouse fulfillment; LogistiVIEW, an AI and vision-driven picking software for smart glasses; and WMS software from JDA and HighJump.
Business and IT leaders in Chattanooga and several Kenco executives will be speaking at the ribbon cutting ceremony, including Denis Reilly, president and CEO, Sean Coakley, senior vice president, Kristi Montgomery, vice president of Innovation, and Rajiv Saxena, senior vice president of Supply Chain Solutions and Innovation.
