Bethel A.M.E. Church Holds Veteran's Day Celebration

Bethel A.M.E. Church held a Veteran's Day Celebration during morning worship service on Sunday.  Retired veterans and their families were in attendance from Chattanooga and surrounding states.

Service members' families wore a polo style shirt with their veteran member's name and service branch in which they were enlisted. 

Candles were lit and Taps was played to honor those veteran members of Bethel who are now deceased. 
 
A reception for the veterans was held in the Willie A.
Haslerig Fellowship Hall immediately followed the service.  

Presiding Elder Dr. Eva Suttles was also in attendance. 

The Veteran's Day Program organizer was Mr. Orville Hughes.  

Reception was catered by Ms. Ethel Gordon.  Rev. A.J. Holman is the pastor.

Bethel A.M.E. Church is at 2000 Walker Ave.
