Thomas Bowles
Thomas Lee Bowles, 79, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on June 23, 1940.
He graduated from Howard High School, class of 1959.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Darren (Tresicia) Bowles, Greg (Monica) Bowles, and James (Paulette) Landrum; four daughters, Stephanie (Leo) Ellis, Angelia Franklin, Lisa Franklin-Cattum; and Karen Walton; brothers, James (Hazel) Otto Bowles, Jr. and Major (Sylvia) Bowles; sisters, Jean Bowles and Shirley Ryan; sister-in-law, Joyce Bowles; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
Public viewing will begin at noon on Thursday, Nov. 21, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at New Home Missionary Baptist Church. Interment: Chattanooga National.
