Family and friends gathered from across the nation to celebrate the wedding of Rebecca Polacek and Mark "Mac" Caldwell on Sunday Oct. 13, in Chattanooga. Their friend Trey Tucker officiated.

Rebecca's parents are Lisa and Leonard Polacek of Pottsville, Ar. Mac's parents are Ann and Mark Caldwell of Lookout Mountain.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted at Corky Corker's antique car museum, and the weather was perfect for their Sunday afternoon outdoor wedding.

The bridal party included MaryCate Howard (Maid of Honor -- Chattanooga), Kay Caldwell (Birmingham, Al.), Meagan Crosby (Charleston, Ar.), Dana Lukens, (San Diego, Ca.), Kim-Ashleigh Mostert (San Diego, Ca.), Caroline Polacek (Junior Bridesmaid -- Conway, Ar.) and their flower girl, Amelia Polacek (Conway, Ar).

The groomsmen were Ben Caldwell (Best Man -- Davidson, N.C.), Brian Viscomi (Johnson City, Tn.), Russ Harwood (Dallas, Tx.), Luke Currin (Broomfield, Co.), Caleb Myhre (Fort Bragg, N.C.) and Evan Loughlin (Wichita Falls, Tx).

Marine, Air Force and Army friends who formed their sword arch included Aaron Goins (Kailua, Hi.), Ben Stallman (Las Vegas, Nv.), Clare Sakovich (Reston, Va.), Fletcher Sims (Chattanooga, Tn.), Jesse Quandt (Hubert, N.C.), Phil Strunk (Enterprise, Al.), Ryan O’Reilly (Albuquerque, N.M.), Steve Jones (Rapid City, S.D.), Tim Crain (Columbus, Ms.) and Katie Obluda (Colorado Springs, Co.).

Mac and Rebecca spent a few days in Iceland after their marriage, and returned to San Diego, where she works for the Veterans Administration and he is stationed at Camp Pendleton. In November Mac was deployed with his 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment.
