Visitors are encouraged to come by for a photo and to explore the museum and artifacts.

The museum is run by the Soddy, Daisy & Montlake Historical Association and regular hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m on Fridays and Saturdays.

Afterwards, SDMHA will host a Holiday Open House from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

SDMHA will be closing the museum for the season after Saturday, until it reopens in 2020. The date of reopening in the spring has not been set yet, but there will be interesting displays and events coming up.

The next SDMHA event is the fifth annual "History Fair" to be held Jan. 18, at the Soddy Daisy High School.
