Lifeway Christian Bookstore at Hamilton Place is closing at the end of May.
Officials cited declining sales and internet competition led to the decision.
Lifeway was once the Baptist Bookstore on Cherry Street. It had a large selection of Christian books and music. The store was located near the House of Music and Lansford Pianos.
Lifeway closed its Hixson store several years ago.
