Paul Lloyd Jenkins, 82, of Ooltewah, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was born on Dec. 7, 1936 to the late Horace and Rethel Jenkins. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell Fugate and brother, Archie Jenkins. 
 
Paul was of the Church of God faith. 
 
On July 17, 1965 in Ringgold, he married the love of his life, Faye. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired carpenter for the local union #74. His hobbies included antique tractors, gas engines and gardening.
 
Survivors include his loving wife, Faye Jenkins of Ooltewah; children, William (Tina) Fugate, of Georgetown, Tn., Eddie (Lori) Fugate, of Birchwood, Tn. and Rita Harden of Nashville; grandchildren, Hope Williams, Tyler Fugate, Kerri Campbell, Logan, Jake and Will Fugate; great-grandchildren, Gracie Fugate, Knox Campbell and Jackson Fugate; and special friends, Kenneth Ritchie and Jim Profitt.  
 
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.                        
 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6 at the funeral home, with Mark Johnson and Felicia Reno officiating. Interment will follow at New McDonald Cemetery.
