U.S. Army Veteran Was A Barber For Over 40 Years

James Franklin Turner, 75, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Christian faith. Frank served his country in the U.S. Army before retiring, after more than 40 years as a barber. He enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool with his friends, and was a loving husband, brother, friend and uncle, who will be greatly missed. 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Queenie Turner; sisters, Joan Turner and Faye Turner; and brother, Johnny Turner. 

He is survived by his loving wife, of 27 years, Edna Faye Davis Turner; sister, Jean Mills; brother, Ray Turner; and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.
