Jerry Neal Oliver, 83, of Fort Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was born Oct. 26, 1935 in Gainesville, Ga.; a son of the late Lester and Dolly Hall Oliver. Jerry has lived most of his life in the North Georgia area, and was retired from Best One Tire, after 30 years of service.

Jerry was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church, and has been a deacon for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jim, Bud, Gene, Bill Oliver, Lola Mae Baker, Nell Jones, Juanita Queen and Helen Mullinax.

Survivors are his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Borin Oliver, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Todd Flanagan officiating.

Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
