Cleveland State Basketball To Send 7 To JUCO Showcases

Cleveland State Men’s Basketball will send seven of their athletes to various JUCO Showcases across the country this weekend.

 

Returning sophomore Demonte Person will be attending the All-American JUCO Showcase in Atlanta, Ga. from Friday thru Sunday. This, according to the event’s website, is “the most exclusive invite-only JUCO Showcase in the U.S.” The event will be covered by ESPN, NBC, and CBS as the top players from junior colleges across the country will go head-to-head.

 

Returning sophomores Maurice Dickson and Jaquez Hicks will attend the Mullen High Profile Tournament and Premier JC Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas Friday through Sunday.

160 junior college players from the country will play in front of NCAA coaches and scouts.

 

Returning sophomore Kerry Pratt, transfer Jakobey Hitchens, and freshmen Jon Morgan and Alex Duke will attend the JUCO Report Top 100 event on Saturday. According to the event’s website, this is the “top event for rising JUCO freshmen and sophomores.”
