1st Annual State Swim Competition In Ft. Oglethorpe Takes Place Saturday

Catoosa County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with The City of Fort Oglethorpe and Catoosa Great  White  Sharks, will be hosting the 2019 GRPA District “C” state swim meet on Saturday at Gilbert-Stephenson Park, 19 Van Cleve St. in Ft. Oglethorpe, at the Arlene Crye Pool. 

Approximately 252  District “C” swim qualifiers, ages seven through 18, will be competing for state championships. 

The swim meet will begin with warm ups at 7:30 a.m., followed by opening ceremony and competition beginning at 9 a.m.
