Open Arms Bike Fundraiser Is Sept. 14

  • Friday, August 16, 2019
Area cyclists are invited to pedal their wheels for a good cause by participating in the 14th Annual “Ride To Provide” bike ride. The event raises money to provide services to the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by Open Arms Care.

Ride to Provide will take place Saturday, Sept. 14 at 8 a.m. at 6711 Mountain View Road in Ooltewah. The event offers three scenic routes – 26 miles, 42 miles or 62 miles – through some of Chattanooga’s "beautiful countryside and rural landscapes."

Participants may register online at www.active.com, complete an entry form found at area bike shops or sign up the morning of the ride starting at 7 a.m.
The early entry fee is $30 per rider or $35 per rider on the day of the event. All riders will receive an event t-shirt, goodie bag, support vehicles, restrooms and sag stops along the routes, and hot showers at the end of the ride. All skill levels are welcome at this family-friendly event.
