Author Of "How To Live Forever" Leads Keynote At Embrace Aging Forum Thursday

  • Monday, August 19, 2019

The third annual Embrace Aging Forum hosted by Chambliss Law and sponsored by Southeastern Trust Company will be held Thursday. It will include a keynote presentation by Marc Freedman, author of “How to Live Forever,” who is also an award-winning social entrepreneur and TED Talk presenter.

The forum will feature breakout sessions led by professionals in aging, one-on-one time with vendors and a trends panel in the afternoon.

It will be held from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Downtown DoubleTree at 407 Chestnut St.

For the first time in United States history, there are more people over 65 years of age than under 18, according to U.S. Census data, which also projects that the number of Americans over 65 will nearly double by 2060. Chambliss Law is hosting the Third Annual Embrace Aging Forum to help adults and boomers connect with resources to remain active and independent as they age.

There will be over 40 vendor exhibits and demonstrations including a healthy cooking session and a chair lift test-drive.
