Boy, 16, Shot While Walking To Grocery On Greenwood Road

A boy, 16, was shot on Greenwood Road Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4:32, Chattanooga Police were notified of a party who had been shot in the 1300 block of Greenwood Road. Upon arrival, police located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. 

 Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. Officers secured the scene and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Unit to respond. 

 The victim advised investigators that he was walking to the store when he heard gunshots and felt he had been shot.
