Jeffery “Scott” Blankenship, 50, Rossville passed away on Monday, October 6, 2020, at his residence.

Scott previously worked for Saddle Creek Logistics. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Blankenship; grandparents, Jess and Hazel Blankenship and Ed and Ruby Colvard.

Survivors include his son Matthew Blankenship; father, Bill (Gail) Blankenship; brother, Tim (Debbie) Blankenship; nephews, Anthony, Daniel and Maxwell Blankenship.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 1 p.m. and until the funeral hour at 4 p.m.    

Private interment will be at the Blankenship Family Cemetery in Pikeville, Tn.

Condolences may be sent and webcasting of the funeral service may be viewed at lane-southcrestchapel.com.

 

Due to the health pandemic, social distancing will be observed.

 

Arrangements are by South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
