Robert Lee “Bob” “Wildman” Colbert, 78, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2020, out of town doing what he loved.

 

He retired from Combustion after 35 years of service. He loved his family, hunting, and gambling. He was preceded in death by his father, DeForrest, mother, Alberta Louise, and much loved sister, Betty Payne.

 

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna Colbert; son, Robert Colbert; daughter, Mary Busey; very much loved step-daughter, Lisa Tyson; and step-granddaughter, Ashley Bratcher; granddaughter, Jessica Long; grandson, Justin Trammell; and seven great-grandchildren with whom he got to spend his last Christmas.

 

Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153, Hixson. We respectfully request that all CDC Covid-19 measures be adhered to, including social distancing and masks.

 

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
