Hamilton County Schools Needs To Pay Substitute Teachers More

  • Friday, December 4, 2020

My heart breaks for the teachers that are working daily to help maintain some form of a normal life for students in Hamilton County Schools. Each day many teachers must be out for issues related to COVID. The problem, however, is finding someone to assume their role.

Substitute teachers are in dire need, and yet no one wants to fill those classrooms with the pay that is offered.

Hamilton County, you have an opportunity to fill those classrooms with qualified substitutes if you will increase their daily pay. It's up to you now.
