A second equally as sweet $10,000 World of Outlaw Late Model series victory came to Newport, Tn. racer Jimmy Owens on Valentine's Day night as the driver known as the "Newport Nightmare" won his career second consecutive Dirt Car Nationals at Volusia County Speedway Friday night.

The "O-Show" wheeled his "Ramirez Motorsports, Boomtest Well Services, Redbone Fishing and Rentals, Reese Monument, Tommy Pope Construction, Power Rig, Red Line Oil, RynoAG, Keyser Manufacturing" sponsored race car ahead of the very best Super Late Model racers holding off Florida's Kyle Bronson, Kentucky's Darrell Lannigan, Illinois' Brandon Sheppard and Georgia's Brandon Overton.

Saturday night's race wraps up the Speedweeks showcase for dirt late models in Florida. Next weekend Super Late Model racing action returns closer to the Tennessee Valley as Fort Payne (Al.) Motor Speedway hosts its annual BAMA BRAWL Feb. 20-23 with a $4,000 to win Main Event.
