Dr. Johnson Should Meets Goals Before Getting A Raise

  • Saturday, February 22, 2020

I have a granddaughter who attends a Hamilton County school. She attends Westview Elementary and I must say that it is an excellent school. I just do not understand why Dr. Johnson should get such a large wage increase before his contract is up. He should have been evaluated a little while before his contract is finished and then it could have been decided what to do.

This seems to happen all the time with the school board. They never live up to a contract so why even bother with them? I would like to see exactly what Dr. Johnson has done for the schools and then we could decided if he deserves such a large raise.

I like the idea that if he achieves certain goals that he will get a bonus. This is standard in a lot of jobs. But to just give out such a huge raise is not right.

I think that it is time once again to vote out a few school board members who have forgotten where the money for a large raise has come from.
